Kekova

Renting a boat for an isolated boat vacation will be an enjoyable experience for both you and your loved ones. As One Yacht, you can set sail for the crystal-clear waters of Kekova by renting a boat from our Göcek location, where we also offer sailing training. Captains who have obtained their IYT license can enhance their experience in Kekova, a safe and comfortable location for sailing, and experience the difference of being the captain of their own boat. To maximize the enjoyment of a boat vacation, proper route planning is of critical importance. Based on the experience we have gained over the years in these bays, we have determined an example route for you. Let’s set sail!
DAY 1: Arrival in Fethiye. You can settle into the boat at Fethiye Yes Marina in the afternoon. The travel itinerary is planned, and a briefing is given on the technical details of the boat. Meanwhile, port formalities and shopping are also completed.
Gemiler Island (36°33’20″N – 029°04’06″E) is an ideal stop for your first night’s accommodation. With the prevailing winds in Fethiye Bay, you can enjoy a pleasant sail while setting your first day’s sailing plan and departing from the port. You can go snorkeling in the clear waters of Gemiler Island. We recommend that you don’t forget to go ashore here. You won’t want to miss the chance to see the remains from the Byzantine period, a covered walking path along the water’s edge, and a partially excavated mosaic church. If you climb to the top of the island at sunset, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the sun disappearing below the horizon.
DAY 2: Kaş (36°11’42″N – 029°38’36″E)
You can start sailing towards Kaş early in the morning. Before entering Kaş Harbor, you can anchor in the nearby bays and take a swimming break. You can meet your needs such as shopping, water, and electricity at Kaş Harbor. Another alternative is Kaş Marina, located just to the west. The marina, which is within walking distance of the city, offers all kinds of facilities.
DAY 3: Kekova (36°11’42″N – 029°50’42″E)
You can start your day by sailing towards Kekova. We highly recommend visiting the ancient sunken city near Kaleköy and bays such as Gökkaya and Kaalos, where you can go snorkeling.
DAY 4: Kalkan (36°15’36″N – 029°24’54″E)
On our return route, your first stop will be Kalkan, where you can enter the port and replenish your supplies (water, electricity, shopping). You can spend the day in Kalkan or anchor at Fırnaz Bay (36°15’36″N – 029°22’24″E).
DAY 5: Turunç Pınarı (36°36’54″N – 029°03’18″E)
We recommend setting sail from Kalkan Port early in the morning and heading toward Fethiye. During this long voyage against the prevailing wind and sea, there are no sheltered ports as you pass Yedi Burunlar. Turunç Pınarı can be an ideal resting point to take a swimming break, have a meal, and relieve the fatigue of the day’s voyage. In the evening, you can anchor at Dış Göbün Bay (36°38’42″N – 028°54’00″E) or moor at the restaurant in Göbün Bay (36°38’42″N – 028°53’36″E) and spend the night there.
DAY 6: Hamam Bay (36°39’36”N – 28°51’00″E)
After leaving Göbün, we recommend visiting Hamam Bay and Bedri Rahmi Bay, which are among the top places we suggest you see. You can spend the long sailing journey of the week enjoying pleasant hours in the unique bays of Göcek (36°45’11″N – 028°56’08″E). Since both bays have restaurants and mooring piers, you can stay overnight if you wish.
7th DAY: At noon, on the final day of your blue cruise, your last stop will be Boynuz Bükü (36°42’42″N – 028°53’48″E) or Göcek Island, where you can take a swimming break and enjoy the unique natural beauty of Göcek before returning to Fethiye and docking at Fethiye Yes Marina.
