Summer Triangle
Summer Triangle

We will discuss three bright stars that can be observed during the summer months: Vega, Deneb, and Altair. Vega is the brightest star in the Lyra constellation, Deneb is the brightest star in the Cygnus constellation, and Altair is the brightest star in the Aquila constellation. When we look up at the night sky on a summer evening, we can see these three bright stars, each located in a different constellation, forming a triangle known as the Summer Triangle. Deneb, which means “tail” in Arabic, is located in the tail section of the Cygnus constellation. Altair is the 12th brightest star in the sky, while Vega is the 5th brightest. With this article, which serves as a tribute to the Summer Triangle that has been watching over us throughout the summer, we bid farewell to the summer months and welcome the winter season. We look forward to seeing you again next summer…
