No matter how much and how long it sails, a boat spends a large part of its life at sea anchored or in port. Therefore, anchoring, mooring, and docking require expertise. From this perspective, this training module focuses on advanced techniques and applications related to anchoring—one of the most frequently asked-about topics—including double anchoring, storm systems, Baltic-style anchoring, system details, and keel systems, in addition to standard procedures.

Specialist training courses consist of extended and detailed versions of the Yachtmaster training curriculum modules. You can take the courses to increase your knowledge and experience, and participate in workshops and practical sessions that coincide with the current training dates. Those who complete all 9 modules will be eligible for the IYT Yachtmaster Coastal license.

Practical training will be provided at the Istanbul One Yacht Küçükyalı pier.
For workshops, you can join the relevant existing Yachtmaster training module or have a customized training created for your group.
This training module certificate certifies that candidates have acquired the knowledge covered in this curriculum. Upon submission of all module certificates to the institution, candidates may take the IYT Yachtmaster Coastal exam to obtain certification for this training.
