You must spend 50 full days as an active crew member on a boat (each 24-hour period counts as one day). This time can be accumulated by adding up the hours spent each day. The time spent on boats that are anchored or moored in a port is not included in the aforementioned period.
You must have traveled at least 3,000 nautical miles while at sea. This distance should be counted for long voyages; short voyages made within a day do not affect this total. You must have logged at least 2,000 nautical miles in coastal passages; ocean crossings do not affect this total.
The candidate must have spent at least 30 hours on night voyages, and it is expected that they have served as the captain of the vessel for at least 6 of those 30 hours. The concept of night voyage refers to voyages conducted between sunset and sunrise.
You can make your payments in cash, by bank transfer/EFT, or by credit card. Fifty percent of the payment is due on the day of registration, and the remaining fifty percent is due on the first day of training.
Participants in the training are required to wear white-soled sports shoes or sailing shoes, clothing suitable for sun, rain, and wind, and sailing gloves.
